Edwina is Landscape Architect with more than 15 years’ experience.  She graduated from the University of New South Wales with Honors in 2001.  Since graduating, Edwina has worked in a number of firms with various design focuses, on projects ranging from large infrastructure improvements, public spaces, hotels and resorts, all the way through to smaller, boutique residential projects. She has extensive experience in pool and garden design and her passion lies with smaller detailed projects.

In 2008, Edwina moved with her husband to Dubai, UAE where she was instrumental in setting up an in-house design office in a large contracting company.  From here she managed a design team and developed an impressive portfolio of clients and projects ranging from private, commercial and government urban planning proposals.

She has also worked in a successful landscape consultancy firm on high profile projects both in the UAE and across Middle East.  This work involved many sub consultants and required a lot of coordination to achieve the intended project outcome.  This experience allowed Edwina to utilize her leadership experience as a manager whilst consulting on the finer aspects of the landscape architecture with a strong focus on detailing.

Her passion for landscape design focuses mostly within residential and small scale commercial projects that have flexibility and individuality. There is an opportunity for a unique and exciting outcome on every project.

Edwina has been inspired by the beauty and diversity of the cultural and natural environments she has observed through her travels.  She strongly believes in not simply recreating those exact experiences, but using key inspirations and detailing them into her designs, that introduce a new dimension by creating a new experience altogether.

Edwina will encourage her clients to be open minded to help take their design brief beyond what they thought was possible.  Whether the garden focuses primarily on the planting, or the entertaining spaces, she will find a beautiful solution for her clients.
